10 step program for removing bogus Twitter Followers
24 07 2008Aha! I just love that moment of discovery when I figure out something that’s been plaguing me for a while…
Most recent Aha! moment was figuring out how to rid my followers list of already blocked spammers & “FolloWhores”.(as I like to call them) that never seem to disappear on their own.
Here’s what you do in step by step fashion:
- Goto your Twitter home page
- Unblock the FolloWhore (eh? It won’t hurt, just do it.)
- Logout & log back in.
- Follow that person (Wha? Trust me)
- Logout & log back in. Again. (1Password rulez)
- Unfollow the dead FolloWhore
- Repeat step #5. Again.
- Block said FolloWhore
Repeat step #7, which repeats 5, 3, etc…[Deprecated]- Check your follower count

WP iPhone
21 07 2008WordPress for iPhone 2.0
WP for the iPhone just came out a bit ago, so I thought I’d dust off my WP blog, and see what this baby can do.
Yeah yeah, it’s an old crusty template, and I haven’t even posted until tonight. Oops.
First impressions? Well, they’re everything, and I’m sure this app will be mostly everything to mobile users. I can see this being really useful even when you don’t have ‘net connectivity, since you write as a local copy. Once you’re satisfied and/or jacked in, publish!
Pluses:
Fast! Holy crap the typing on this is smokin’ fast! Publishing/editing is near instantaneous. Syncing back to the iPhone is smooth and quick. Staggeringly quick.
Minuses:
Certain text entry points don’t auto-capitalize words where they should. There is no number 2! Just go get it and have fun…
If you use WordPress, and have an iPhone, you can’t go wrong with this app… Especially at this price!
Cheers! AceyTech
